Help how to get images to show up in gallery

Hi. I'm having trouble getting images to show up in the Gallery. I had no problem uploading the pictures to the device, but I'm not sure why the gallery isn't recognizing them.

All I want to do is get a picture from my comp to the wallpaper. It should be a simple task, but it's proving to be rather difficult for a new android user.

Some phones need to be re-booted by shutting them off, and restarting them before the gallery will recognize the newly downloaded images.
Try that first, and let us know if it helps.

Had the exact same issue with my Sensation XL, had to shutdown, remove the battery, reinsert and reboot. Fixed and never happened again
