how to get rid of junk applications

so far, I love my Motorola droid but I do not like some of the apps/icons that are occupying my phone's application page. How do I remove them since they don't appear in the list of applications that can be uninstalled.
Some of the apps that i want to remove are: amazon mp3 and facebook.

Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Menu > Filter > Select All

Oops... just noticed that you can view them, but not uninstall...

The only thing that I know to tell you is to use the home screen to store the icons you use the most. Maybe add some folders with more icons. If there is a way to organize the "app tab" I have not found it...

I don't think there is a way to do it... yet.

Note the word "yet".

Guess we'll just have to wait until we can root the phone.
