Help how to have multiple programs working

hello im new in android world, got this tablet yesterday and already have a question.. Is it possible to somehow have music playing and e.g. Document open for editing? Cus now i cant even open youtube on browser and e.g. Write an email.. There must be some kind of a trick to make several apps working at the same time.. Thanks in advance for your help

Some apps will run in the background, such as the default music player. But YouTube requires a constant internet connection and as such it may be paused when you switch to another app. Playing MP3's on your phone while editing is much easier and does not require internet access.

Yeah, Youtube operates under the assumption that you're watching the video that's playing. If you switch to another app, it pauses because you're no longer watching it.
