How to hide Developer Mode

Hi, could anyone tell me if its possible to hide the developer mode option from settings?

A factory reset will do it.....

If you open 'Developer options' in your Settings menu, towards the top there's the option to toggle it off.

Odd coincidence you're at least the second posting this week here in the forum asking this same question. I'm curious why you want to hide it?

Does this work the same on all Android phones?

The toggle? Why not just look and see? Different manufacturers mess with customise the user interface in their own ways, so I doubt anyone can definitively state whether it works that way on all devices because it's something that could in principle be changed.

The factory reset would re-hide the option on any device, apart from one running a really old version of Android where the menu wasn't hidden in the first place.
