Help How to hide / disable this button in navigation menu?

Hey, I would need some help disabling/hiding this button in the navigation bar (when tapped on, it hides the nav bar).

I enabled this button, a downward facing arrow, ages ago but now I want to get rid of it and forgot where I found this in settings and I was so sure I checked everything but still can't find it.

I have Huawei P8, EMUI 3.1, Android 5.0.1

Welp that's a bit unclear suggestion... I'm using Nova launcher rn, but I had this button enabled way before I installed Nova.
I don't think it's the launcher that causes this or can fix this problem.
