How to hide or disable qslide?

Well I don't really use it much. I am rooted via the framaroot apk. But I don't want to risk bricking it. Anyone know how?

If you don't mind flashing a custom rom chevanlol's simplicity rom will give you the option to include qslide or not when you install it. He's made it so you can choose which of the unnecessary stock apps you want included when you flash it. There may be another way but that's how I did it.

I am unfamiliar with flashing Roms. The fear of bricking my phone really Is holding me back from flashing. Is there an easy step by step tutorial on installing chevanlols ROM?

How do you like it? I'm thinking about installing it. Does it have the stock Android feel. The screenshots that I've seen look like its skinned to emulate kitkat. If I install it I'll probably use a stock jb theme with Apex Launcher.

Yes it feels and looks a lot like stock kitkat. I'm loving it. It removes a lot of the clutter and bloatware from the optimus f7. It feels a lot smoother also. Check it out. Just make sure to Make a backup of the stock rom using cwm.

Success! I have Simplicity running and it's great. No Try and buy bloatware, and I disabled all of that LG GUI/qSlide garbage so everything feels and runs like Stock JB. Thanks for the advice/help everyone.

They actually have a module for for the xposed framework that u can remove the qslide without having to flash a rom cant remember where i found it at but the module is called GEEMOD 1.3 GOOGLE it thats how i found it.

QSLIDE takes up a chunk of extra space on an already small screen

Worse yet, with the newest OTA update, they put another row of RECENT APPS icons across the app drawer... :(

Yes if the qslide annoys you like it did to me I recommend flashing the simplicity xl ROM. It gives you the option of totally removing it.

Do you prefer the jb notification bar or the white KitKat theme?
