I'm a developer and I don't like seeing unpublished apps when I'm logged into the developer console.
Since I mainly deal with web based programming, I wrote JavaScript code to hide unpublished apps. I think that others would find it useful so I made it available to download on my blog as a Greasemonkey script or bookmarklet.
Since I am new here, I can't post the link but I can happily give it to a mod or someone else who wants to share it if you guys are interested.
