Apps How to host a project on github?

i have signed up on git hub because i can host my project and share it with others and make revisions from time to time...

the thing is i went through their start up guide but there were alot of (seemingly) command prompt orders,and im not familiar with them...


can anyone tell me if theres an easier way to host it?
