Help How to I get Motorola Update Services

[Moto G 1st Generation]

I have the Moto G 1st Generation and when I go the Play Store to get Motorola Update Services, it says it's not compatible for my device. I REALLY want to get Android L 5.0 but I know that I can't get it unless I get Motorola Updates Services first. PLEASE HELP

The Lollipop update is being slowly rolled out, so not everyone can install Motorola Update Services right now. I'm not sure how they determine that.

Over time Motorola Update Services should show up as compatible for your phone and other peoples phones, then you can update.

i had to manually update the app from the play store. what i did was a Google search for the app then click the link to the app and you'll be given the opportunity to update. i was just able to get it today no lollipop yet but it should be here any day now
