There is no way to add more internal memory, as phones are not yet to the point where we can plug and play additional components. However if your device has an SD card you can move your pictures, music, and videos to the card, which will free up space on your internal memory. Additionally if you have Gingerbread or older you are able to move apps to the SD card to free up some space. Finally if all else fails, you may need to do some house cleaning to remove apps you don't really use.
If course, you could also root your phone and install a custom ROM, almost all ROMs are more efficient in memory usage than the stock device, but if you are going that route I strongly recommend you sign up and visit your device's all things root section on the forums.
