Root how to install adobe flash?

Sorry if I'm being a bit of a leech and not contributing. But I'm pretty new to androids in general.

Anyways I'm running cm7 backside. Android is:2.3.7
Can't figure out how I tried installing flash 10 but it didn't effect my system and when I rebooted it seemed to brick NY phone (had to reflash Rom)
Any ideas?
Do I need a different. Rom?
By effect my system I ment it didn't allow me to play flash objects (like. Swfs)

Flash isn't officially supported on the Optimus V. However there are some versions of it that work on some Vs. There are a number of threads here discussing installing it all with links to XDA threads with the hacked apks for you.

I've been using 10.3 from there, works okay. Videos play, but not games.
