Help how to install android icecream sandwich version in to galaxy y

hey guys could u plz tell me somebody who know install ice cream sandwich into galaxy y.......... plz help me to do that correctly. reply me as soon as possible........:confused:

U cannot even get the Honeycomb unless and until kernel source is released.
And even if kernel source is released it is very difficult to port a huge ROM like Ice cream Sandwich
Ice cream Sandwich requirements are at least 512 MB ROM,
512 MB Ram.
As well as a good processor is expected.
A much old LG Optimus One (P500) is also failing to RUN ICS wholly then what is galaxy Y.
I dont say it cannot b ported but it is very very very difficult stuff and may require a huge dev team.
 
don't be too hard.htc hd2 had already been ported to ics.. maybe in the future galaxy y will have one. just wait. btw, afaik, honeycomb is tablet-only version, so its impossible to have it than having ics.. just stick with gbread for now.
 
Moreover HTC HD2 was released on Nov 2009 and now it is ported.
When Samsung gonna release galaxy y kernel source?
Y can be ported but its difficult.
A huge and expert dev team is required because porting a ROM which requires 512 mb ROM,RAM to a device having 200 mb ram and 256 mb ROM is very difficult work.
 
Tbh I dought the Y will have custom roms or effort put into it due to it's price etc, it will just be forgotten about, they only concentrate on the big selling phones like the sgs2. The Y is just a stop gap for me while I save for the next good thing, dont get your hopes up, sorry it that sounds blunt.

Don't forget that androiforums.com also has ROM developers .
We requested to one developer to build custom ROM for a70 and we got it made.
Now we have host of roms with one or other specialty in them.
Similarly u can.
Besides I can make one but cannot test as I don't own the device.
Can any one give me the ROM dump of galaxy y
 
which version ?? i don't have Indian version but i have links for DXKJ3!!
don't know how to extract the rom and save it :(
 
as soon as my rom manger get fix,i will upload n send u the links !! i hope rooted rom will be no problem with you ?
 
Then how you gonna backup ur ROM.
Don't use ROM manager bcoz many galaxy phones are bricked due to it.
You can use anything else of which u r sure which will be harmless for ur phone.
 
truly saying brother ,i just bought this mob,15-20 days ago ,so not much idea about these tools yet ,but i try and send to you as soon as possible
