How To Install Play Store

Hi guys
I recently installed a custom ROM (Cyanogen 9) in my LG Optimus L3 E400 smartphone but I later found out it didn't have Google play & I found out that I have to reinstall the ROM again with gapps to get the Play Store. The problem is I don't know how to install ROM manager since the custom ROM doesn't have any file explorer for me to install apps from my D Card. Can you please advice me on how I can install apps from the SD card. Thanks

Hi Bruce and welcome to Android Forums!

You really don't NEED Rom Manager. You can go into Recovery and flash these things. Not sure how to access Recovery on your phone, but these folks DO:

Once in Recovery, make a nandroid backup, flash the ROM and Gapps (which should be on your SD card) and reboot. You shouldn't even need to do a factory reset... so no deleting anything. Make sure you have at least 80% battery charge in case things go awry, which I doubt they will.
