First you will need to do the following,
Menu > Applications > tick Unknown Sources.
Once you have the APK file simply drag it on to the SD card when the USB cable is plugged in to the PC.
You will also need a File Manager to install the APK file, I suggest Astro File Manager this can be downloaded from the Android Market.
