Hi,

How do I know the stock ROM version that I have?

Is there a way to back up my stock rom just in case anything bad happens when replacing it with custom rom?

backup and restore app for ROMS?

Is there a downloadable version of stock roms?

Thanks,

Janus

Settings>About phone>Software information>Software version

Then go here and see if there's a file to match. If so, download it and keep it safe in case you ever need to unroot:

I have an HTC DESIRE
I've checked the link and I have found a download for a stock rom I think is the same as mine although it was in the Bravo section and not the Desire section as I thought it would be.
The numbers are the same but I'm not sure what Froyo is.
Also i'm not sure about the numbers at the end (157522 signed)
The following is what i've found and what my phone displays.
Can any one confirm if I have the correct one.

The one found:
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_Vodafone_UK_2.33.161.2_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_157522_signed.exe

My Phones Info:
Andriod version 2.2
Baseband version 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27
Build number 2.33.161.2 CL284385 release keys
Software number 2.33.161.2

Can anyone help me ?
Thanks
