The video player app can engage the Video Lock mode by pressing the power button. No such option seems to exist when using the YouTube app. What am I missing? Is there an app that can create some sort of workaround?

I started a similar post some days ago, it is a pain in the ass and I have not found a work around it.
It would be very helpful for putting the phone on your pocket while listening to youtube or music.

On one of these forums i read someone saying they were able to lock the screen in the youtube app with some combination of the volume rocker and the power button but i haven't found anything that works yet.
I was just making fun of my iphone earlier today but if I can't figure something out for this I may be going back to it. I spend at least a couple hours a week running errands listening to talks on youtube with the phone in my pocket and these buttons are way too sensitive to not have a way to lock it out.
