Help how to log out from gmail?

Samsung galaxy tab screen made the gmail default. I dont have to log in to gmail. But it does not give any options to log out.how to log out ? I belive it is not a good idea to leave the gmail as loged in.please let me know hot log out.thank you.

Hi again,

As in the other thread, if you log on via the internet, you can sign out of Gmail. I'm sure there's a way of signing out of the nominated Gmail address within the Galaxy system, but I can't remember how. Try Googling it from the home page (I can't check right now as it's not my device).
