Root how to make some free internal memory?

ok so , i need to transfer part of my apps to sd card to make some space in the main internal memory. I don't know how to do this so i need some help, if anybody can tell me this...thanks in advance

Does this work, it states that it is for versions 2.2.

If your willing to root your X10 (if not already rooted) and spend $6 you could get Titanium Backup Pro which allows to your to move apps to your sd card.
