Apps How to make sure my app isn't draining batteries

I didn't realize that the Android Battery tool allows people to not only see which apps are hogging battery, but you can even uninstall those apps directly from the tool.

With this being such a big issue, how can I test my app's drain or figure out which bits of code / scenarios cause the most drain? Any tips?

You could try running the Android battery tool with your app running on the device. What does it say? If it's not a huge battery hog, then no problem.

That's just one moment of one instance on one controlled device, not really the granularity that I'm looking for. Knowing which points of my app are causing issues can help me figure out where to focus my efforts.

My worry is that it'll be exponentially worse for certain users, certain devices, etc that I can't always replicate
