How to make the phone keep focused when it sees me

I've enabled 'smart stay', but it doesn't seem to work.

[I notice it says that light conditions must be 'well lit', for this to
work.]

So, can I adjust it's sensitivity, so it works in somewhat darker conditions? :smokingsomb:

Or, barring that, is there a 'plan-B' approach, so that the phone 'pays attention' better?
