Help How to move apps to sd card android gingerbread

How to move apps to sd card android Gingerbread(2.3), Can we do it the same way we do it in Froyo(2.2). Using the ADB in the SDK by using the shell ADB and changing the default AppInstallLocation to 2 ?

Or is it any other way ?
 
i'am also new here and a new android user....i have this samsung galaxy y....i have the same question in mind.....can anyone help us?

You can change the app using App2sd app from the market. or by changing the default app install location using ADB.....like this . click on the link. and find more about the procedure

1. YES, the adb way works..
2. Titanium Backup after Root
 
But I tried the adb thing and now it reset to apps install to the phone not the sd card. And somebody here said its only for froyo not gingerbread. Or maybe I did it wrong.
 
i got link2sd bt i cant move them

some apps are not moveable to sd-card you can check out my blog "soft-gets.com" to help you on this just search in the blog for this issue, I have this post in the feature posts at the top. I am not allowed to put a link here so you will have to do it manually, I have a full video tutorial that will surely help you move almost every app to sd-card.
 
Hello sir/maam,

I'm using lg optimus l3 androin gingerbread 2.3.6
my problem was other appllication that i installed it's automatically saved in system memory and there'e no option in moving in SD or internal memory.
Kindly give some instruction on how to move apps came in system memory go to SD card or in internal memory
