How to Open New Tab in Background While Browsing with internet app

Hi,

New to android.
How do you Open links in a New Tab in the Background While Browsing with the internet app?
Ive searched everywhere & cant find an answer. I could do this on my iphone 3GS.
I googled & found an answer for galaxy s3, but the menu options arent there for my S4 mini.
Also, is there somewhere that instructs me on these types of issues?
Thanks!

Don't think you can do it in the background - you'll need to open a new tab then tap the tab list and select the original tab.

To open a new tab in chrome, hit the menu button then New tab.

Thanks for your replies.
El Presidente- If I long press the URL, theres no open in background option. I can either open the link in the current tab or open it in a new tab which it immediately displays on top.

chanchan05- I have looked in the settings & cant find the option anywhere. If you know it, could please describe how to get to it?

Assuming that you are using the default Samsung Internet app, and it's the same as the one I have, it's supposed to be in internet>settings>advanced>open in new tabs. Put a check on that option.

I have a Galaxy S4 Mini I9195. My options under internet>settings>advanced> are Privacy, accessibility, content settings and bandwidth management.
There is no "open in new tabs" option -and even if there was I think that still wouldnt open the links in the background.

Im surprised this simple feature is missing

Oh well. Just use Chrome instead. It can open in new tabs if you long press on a link. Personally I use tgat browser.
