Help How to overcome version problem in Kies?

After some hits and misses, I managed to get my Galaxy S connected to Kies and stay connected. It is shown as GT-I9000. Then under Firmware information, it says "Please update Samsung Kies to the latest version and then upgrade firmware. Current firmware version: PDA:JG4 / Phone:JG4 / CSC:JG4 (XSO)"

When I click Help Check updates in Kies, it says "Latest version installed. Installed version: 2.0.0.11014_49."

I am STUCK!! How do I get out of this ditch?

Thanks.

Glad it works. All we need now is for Samsung to start giving out Gingerbread:D.
From what I've read on other forums, Kies is a strange bit of software that likes to please itself, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
By the way, you should now be on version 2.0.0.11044_11.

All the best.
