How to play music on Samsung Galaxy J2

I got my travel phone Tracfone [Verizon] Samsung galaxy J2 (S260DL) for places where my T-mobile phone doesn't have towers. I want to transfer MP3 files to the phone, as I do with my LG, from my computer. But the only thing on here to play music is google. I won't sign up for that, which it wants me to do, and give nosy, annoying google even more access to me. Is there any simple and FREE music player for MP3 that I can install on my Samsung phone? And if so, from where can I download it?

I always use Foobar2000 as my go to music player. It's free open source, NO ads!

You can download it from here.

actually on most phones it is not google's play music app any more. youtube music has now become the default player. i believe youtube music can play mp3 files.....regardless any music app in the play store should work playing mp3 files.
