how to post when offline?

often enough I am in an area w/o mobile internet ..

sometimes I might have a question I want to post about some topic .. might be from sports to technology ..

for now I make a text note with the post text..

but I wish there was a way for me to make a post to some forum .. and it would auto post when my device connects to the internet .. this saves 2x time .. no need to come back to same thing again ..

say Android Facebook app can schedule for your post to be sent when you are back online .. but for now it is only limited to posting to your own page only .. not to groups or so afaik ..

what are some way to do that for posts to other forums?

any software support this?

I am exploring app like Tapatalk ..

any others?

thank you..

I save the thread link in ColorNote

I write up my post there also, and do it later.

probably better ways, but I usually have cellphone coverage in my home area.
So, it don't matter.....

2 months ago? it did matter a lot..........
I stayed in a town that did NOT have any cell tower coverage at all for my phone.
I had to wait until I got to the hotel at night and use my laptop on their WiFi.....

or, use the phone on their WiFi..... BTW, that hotel had the fastest WiFi that I ever saw for a hotel.

that was the only time that I wished that I had an app to make phone calls via WiFi...

I used to do something like this years ago with a Win CE PDA and an off-line newsreader, back in the day before smart-phones and cellular data. Could download all recent newsgroup posts, including content, make replies, and it would upload them all when it was next on-line via WiFi.

Tapatalk doesn't have an off-line mode unfortunately, there's Forum Runner as well, but I don't think that can work off-line either. And using a browser that has to be on-line of course.

Tapatalk guys should read this topic and add this feature to their new version of Tapatalk.
