Help how to prevent modem crash

Hello there..Good day to you all.
Thought to post here because I think I have the same problem(I think).
I recently flashed my LG L70(D325) to CWM 13 and there, my phone began to show "Service disabled" .Then I flashed back to stock ROM using LG Flashtool(relevant firmware was downloaded through official LG site using IMEI)
Now, i have those red cross on signal bars and no calling or sms is possible(send/receive).
But, I do this trick. I "'turn ON Aeroplane mode", then turn off the phone, then turn on the phone back again and finally turn OFF that aeroplane mode. the red cross disappear and calling/texting is available now.
The problem is I have to do this on each and every "Phone turn off-turn on" cycle. Does this related to modem crash or another problem ??
