How to protect the evos camera from scrathes

I had an idea of buying an cheap screen protector to cut out a circle for the camera on the evo 4g. Anyone else have an idea on how to protect the evo's camera. And will this mess up picture or video quality.
 
not needed. it doesnt scratch. just like the front screen. im sure with alot of force it will but with as much force as it would take it would damage the screen even with the protector.

we took keys, scissors, and a razor blade to the screen and camera lens.

no video of me doing it. i did it in the tmobile store after i had confirmation that the HD2 would not scratch. the tmobile rep did it to the HD2 and i knew they were the same screen so i did it.

but there are videos of it being done on youtube.
