how to read chinese in email?

i have charge and am having problems reading chinese in emails. i tried morelocale and it shows only in program names but still "????" in emails. I do see correct chinese character in subject though... any suggestions? thanks!

What app are you using for email?

I'm using the default mail app, and it works fine. I've never had a problem.

i use K-9...

You could post it as an issue for the K-9 devs, but I see a couple already there. It appears K-9 doesn't support Chinese characters.
