How to reboot device with non removable battery???

I'm waiting for the G2 but I am curious about one thing.
All the phones I had so far had removable batteries.
Now with the G2 that does not have a removable battery, what happens when the phone freezes (assuming it would) and you need to reboot the device?

Well, you can reboot or turn off a device by usually clicking and holding the power button until a menu pops up on your screen, then you choose which option you need. Hope this helps

If it freezes you can hold the power button until it turns off. Most of the time if it freezes up, the power menu button won't pop up. On my tablet I just hold it down till it shuts down. My nook was the same way.

Most android phones with sealed battery has battery pull-up mode, holding the power button and volume down button at the same time for like 5 secs or more. This will shut down and reboot the device like battery pull and turning it on.

Or it can be like the droid razor. Where it has a hard reset button combo. But you have to hold down til phone reboots

We got into the situation once with my wife's RAZR M where it froze, screen on, and we didn't know how to hard reset the phone since the battery isn't removable. Quick google search and I found the combination. It is a button combo and I think it requires a full 5 seconds of holding down to force the hard reboot. Something to keep you from accidentally doing so.

do people never worry about the life of a battery? so many new phones with sealed non removables...what if down the line the battery life needs to be replaced....only have to resort to sending it in..

It certainly is a factor, although one that personally I don't overly worry about.

My last 5 cell phones, I've never replaced the battery due to failure. So at a certain point, it just became no big deal. Although this is my first phone without a removable battery.
