Help How to record in 640x480

I just got my Samsung Galaxy Ace and I have read stuff about people being able to record in 640x480. Well I can't do it. I have 320x240 and 176x144 but not anything else. My android version is 2.3.6 and I have also tried lgcamcorder but no 640x480. In lgCamcorder the picture gets all messed up when hitting the recording button. My android version was 2.3.6 when I bought it, I haven't updated it myself. That updateprogram from Samsung also tells me that there is no update available.

I can't find anything about this on the internet, hopefully someone can help me here:(

Go to camera recording mode, click on the wrench icon(settings) and change resolution.

I have the same issue the first guy, Tryed the wrench, but there are two options only- Limited to MMS (or whaterver) and the 320x240. No option of 640.

I have the Gingerbread 2.3.6 ver.

That's right. The GT-5380i has a lower resolution for video. Some other specifications are better (for example processor (a tiny bit), stand-by time), but I think the lower video resolution is a big ....:(
