Help how to record in another format?

I am usin CM7 and when I record videos with my camera they are in m4v format and when I use the YouTube app to upload they are all garbled. I used to be able to upload to youtube fine before. I believe it was 3gp format it was recording to.

i believe avs makes a convert anything into anything...you would have to convert on your computer tho i dnt think their is app.
