how to record like a video camera

i am going away on vacation and usually i take my video recorder with me.but i dont want to..is there a app that i can record like my video camera? eg. i record for 2 min then 30 min later i record again for 5 min etc....i do this for my whole trip..when playing back is there a way to watch them all joined together continously?
and say i record to sd card can i burn them to a dvd..

You can do multiple recordings, just switch to video in the camera APP. You may have to get a third party video editing app to join them. You may also want to convert them to another format before burning to CD/DVD but someone more knowledgeable about that will help.
