Root how to regain root access!!!???!!!

Lurker
After i rooted my droid razr with this method on below, i got this update, and i totally forgot that it would lose my root access, so here i am! I tried to root again with same method, but failed, because my root checker says its not rooted, i even tried super one click to root, but failed miserablyyyy.. one thing i noticed that is superuser still being in my DR, and getting rid of it is impossible without rooting! there is any ways to get rid of it so i can root my DR again?? or rooting without getting rid of SU?

I used this method:
[04/Jan][ROOTING/UNROOTING] DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit [v4.0](zergRush Exploit) - xda-developers

Thanks!!!

Follow the instructions on this link.

Installing 6.12.173.xt912 [Guide] - DroidRzr.com

Check the root forums for instructions on how to downgrade to 744. Or, wait for for someone to figure out how to do it on the new version.

I see you have posted in the Droid Razr Maxx Forum as well. I know that the Maxx is only a minor variation of the original Droid Razr, but since root exploits are very specific to phone models - even versions within the same family - that may be (pardon the pun) the root of your problem. Hopefully you'll get the answer that solves your problem and if someone could confirm that the Razr and the Razr Maxx can use the same exploit (or not) it would be helpful.

Thanks. :D

I am in Moto's firmware soak test and I can confirm that the RAZR and MAXX use the same firmware image (hence the same root method).

In terms of root with the latest OTA, I have read that new Droid 4 Motofail exploit works. This also works for the latest Bionic OTA. You can get it here:
