How to remove pin # to unlock screen

Crockett

I set up my new Samsung Tab S5e Tablet with Android 10 to unlock the screen with a PIN number. Now I want to unlock it without having to put my PIN in every time. How do I do that?

Go to settings, security, screen lock, and input your pin, then choose " no pin or password"...
When I open settings, there is no "Security" but there is "Biometrics and security". When I open "Biometrics and security", there is no "screen lock".
So what next?

Go to the bottom and underneath other there should be lock screen settings. Or if you go back to settings there should be a lock screen settings option.

you can even just search for lockscreen settings within the setting's search feature.

curious as to what phone you have?
It's not a phone. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Tablet. When I first set it up I also downloaded the latest Android update which says it's Android version 10
. I searched for "lockscreen settings" within the setting's search feature -- and it said "No results found".

I found a PIN setting and turned it off and still needed the PIN to unlock the screen. Then a light bulb went off in my feeble brain -- and I rebooted the Tablet -- and finally got it! After the reboot -- now the PIN is off. Thanks for all the suggestions!
