Help How to remove shortcuts on App (not Home) screen ?

I noticed the Baltic 2.1 came with a whole bunch of shortcuts (to URLs) on the App screen that don't seem to be removable. Tapping and holding allows me to bring them to the Home screen and I can remove from the Home screen but not the App screen (or list).

Am I missing sth obvious or is this "baked" into the ROM and unremovable ? Thanks in advance.

are you using a home replacement app? i use adw launcher and in the app drawer you can create categories. Everything you want in a category shows and the others are hidden
