I posted the same thing over at XDA's general forum but thought it would get more exposure over here.
I was having issues with the Optical Finger Scanner where i would have to hold another button to get it to move the mouse and while attempting to set up my Bose home theater system, the LED would not light up when i pressed the AMP button. Called up sony and they told me how to reset the remote and now it works
To reset the Sony Google tv remote/keypad (NSG-MR1)
1. Remove the 2 AA Batteries
2. Press EVERY button 2 times. (I know there's a lot but it fixed my issues)
3. Replace batteries
There you go, simple as that. Now my OFS works properly and LED on AMP button lights up and can now control my Bose home theater system.
Hope this helps out some other people as it did me.
