I have an original Droid, and from time to time, it goes squirrelly. Phone freezes, icons missing, etc. Powering off and on doesn't solve it, but removing the battery and replacing it does. I'm guessing this is a soft reset of some sort. I do it every few weeks. (I've also done a hard reset, but that was because it was slowing down and the lag time made it almost unusable. A different problem)
I want to get the Maxx, but if the battery is not user removable, how do I accomplish the soft reset with the Maxx? I can't believe it will never go nutso on me and I don't want to have to hard reset every few months.
