hi Guys,
my galaxy S3 is the 2 GB RAM 'SHV-E210L' Lte (korean model) . I want to root it and update it to 'jelly bean' but I've read that some rooting only works for the conventional i9300 models , does anybody know how can I SAFELY root my SHV-E210L? also, after rooting I do the 'jelly bean' update or viceversa?
thanks a lot for your help, am pretty new to all these tweaks with the android stuff and my head is about to explote!.
cheers!

Hey there laguilar, glad to have you here!

I am going to move your thread into the Galaxy S3 forums so someone there can help you with your issue.

More specifically the International Root Section on the S3.

Hope this move is good, otherwise PM me :)

Hi Laguilar,

Unfortunately we don't have a specific forum for your model, and the only thing I can find at the moment is this xda thread, so it may be worth having a read through there and see if you can find any rooting guides.

I may move this out of the Int. S3 section as anything in here is only for the GT-i9300, and perhaps in the main section there will be more people that have your phone and can help :)

Samsung Galaxy III LTE (SHV-E210L)
I'm being offered the Korean version of The Samsung Galaxy III LTE (SHV-E210L).
It was on their LG U+ Network (UNLOCKED and ROOTED).
Been told the UK version of the phone (I9305) will operate on 800 / 1800 / 2600 MHz frequencies.
I need to be 100% certain the Korean version of the phone will work on the LTE frequency bands in the UK. I have been given a serial number and IMEI number.
CAN ANYONE HELP URGENTLY PLEASE?
