If you already know this, please ignore thread. I didn't know about this, even a year after being on sprint. I talked to two co workers who had e4gt and they didn't know either.
You can run a version of ICS with most of the BS stripped out of the interface without rooting or running a custom rom.
If you go to "Sprint ID" and look for the ID called "Clean". Download it and select it. It strips out a lot of the BS that Sprint and Samsung throw on top of the interface.
It makes the interface look so much closer to how I remember pure ICS looking when I was running CM9, with none of the risk.
I turned it on when I got my e4gt and haven't turned it off since.
