Help How to run Android 6.0 on a Windows 10 laptop?

I don't have a smart phone but I wanted to run android 6.0 on my windows 10 laptop. I heard it's possible to do so by running an emulator directly in windows. I tried bluestacks but it did not work. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get it up and going?

A Marshmallow 6.0 version of Android-x86 that you can try to run on a PC, there's this on a Chinese forum.

There's a couple of "testing" ISOs on Sourceforge of 6.0 Android-x86.

If anything is actually usable or not, have no idea. Although I might try Marshmallow 6.0 in Virtual Box on a Mac later today.
