Help How to "Save" each of my home screens?

OcalaFlGuy

I like the way my Spirit is set up but I am starting to accumulate some images that I'd also like to try and make a nice screen for. (Hi GT! :D )

Is there an easy way within the native phone functions (or some other easy non-rooted way) to save each of my 5 already set up home screens so I can easily and quickly revert to them without fully "rebuilding" them?

Thanks in advance,

To do this, is very easy when rooted, but I understand not wanting to root. I don't root all my phones.

On stock this could be tricky if it's possible.

---Do a backup of your home screen
---With the file browser of your choice see if you can navigate to /sdcard/Home to find your newly made backup (I think thats the backup folder for the stock launcher)
---Try to copy the Home folder or it's contents and store it on your external sd
---You would have to do this for every home backup since every time you backup, the previous is over written.
---When restoring one of your backups, simply copy it from ex-sd to the Home folder and then restore

This could work & is very easy, but I'm not sure... You would have to try it.

Join the dark side and ROOT!!

Actually the answer is Settings > Home Screen Settings > Home back-up and restore.

That sounds like the answer anyway but I'm too chicken to try. (Wonder why I'm not rooted... :o )

I'm also wondering if it lets you save more than 1 version.

I found it, someone else try it out for me! :D

Actually the answer is Settings > Home Screen Settings > Home back-up and restore.
Check the post I did above. It explains what to do after making a backup, so that you can do multiple backups of all the different home screens you desire while not being rooted.
