Help How to Save Typed Document On Note 4?

How can I type and save my typing on my Note 4 ? I tried Docs To Go and Polaris Office (both work just fine on my Note 3), but I do not have permission to save on the Note 4.

I have to pay money for the Premium Polaris Office in order to save my typing on my Note 4. Docs To Go will not allow me to save my typing ....

So, I'm stuck, unless there is some way around this, or another app that will allow me to type documents on my Note 4, then save to my Note 4.

I tried both saving to the internal memory and the micro sd card, but will not work with either storage space.

For now I'll have to paste my typing into an email message, then open the email message on my Note 3, and save into a Docs To Go file, then transfer that file via Bluetooth to my Note 4, then copy that text to paste where I need it .....

I purchased the full version of Docs To Go ($15.00/US), so now I can save word processing files that I type, but only to the internal memory on my Note 4.

I'm still searching for an Android Word Processor that will allow me to save docs to either internal memory or Micro-SD Card .....

Try WPS Office. Works and saves on every device I've ever had, including Samsungs.

....and I just so happened to be checking, correcting and saving an IELTS student's homework document on my phone. :thumbsupdroid:

Put it in portrait, and can see the whole width, or zoom as well.

EDIT:

BTW has Docs To Go been discontinued, because all their download URLs for Android, iOS and Blackberry are 404.

If they haven't updated it to save to external storage in Kitkat or Lollipop on the Note 4 etc, it probably never will be now.

WPS will save to the internal memory on my Note 4, but not the SD card. I think I have to Root my device, which I will not do.

WPS Office, save document to SD Card. :thumbsupdroid:

This is Oppo R7 Plus, not rooted, but it's also OK on an S4 I've got here, but that is CM12 rooted. Although I don't think root makes any difference here.

I just tried using MS Word for Android. It can save to SD card. When saving, simply choose Save As, then this Device, scroll down to the folder labeled 'storage', then choose extSDcard. The problem here now would be the OS version of your phone. If you are using Jellybean or Kikat, you may not have proper SD card permissions. You need to update to Lollipop to get that and be able to save on SD card. .

I have Lollipop 5.1.1 on my Note 4 and cannot save to the SD card in my Note 4. Message says something about choosing Root Directory. I will not Root any of my devices.

No problem on my Note 3. So, something has changed with the permisions in the newer Android Operating System .....

I just created a new document in Word, but still cannot save to the Micro-SD card in my Note 4.

I tried to upload a screen shot, but the saved image "does not have the allowed extension."

The only choices of places that I have to save: 1) One Place, 2) This Device (only to the internal memory), 3) Add a Place (One Drive Personal, One Drive Business, Drop Box, Share Point), 4) Browse (Google Drive, Box and more).

No choice to save to the Micro-SD card on my Note 4.

Ok, I tried exactly as you suggested. I chose the folder labled "Storage" on the SD Card, but I keep getting this error message:

"Choose another location -- you don't have the permission to save files to this location."

I finally was able to save to the SD card using WPS, but it is a hassle to navigate to find the place to save to the sd card. Much easier on the Note 3. Don't have this issue with saving word processing files.
