How to schedule a recurring (every 4 weeks) calendar event

jjsharkey

Lurker
Want to schedule the same reminder to make a phone call every 4 weeks (28 days) but Android Calendar doesn't have this capability yet. A monthly reminder won't work, it has to be every 4 weeks.

I imagine Android will eventually add this capability but perhaps someone knows a workaround already out there.

Thanks.

The default HTC Sense calendar allows you to set recurring calendar events.

If the AOSP doesn't support it, maybe it'd be easier to do it via the web at google calendars. then sync your google calendar with your phone.

The Android calendar app doesn't provide many options for repeating event cycles, but you can enter these events in the web browser on a computer and they will sync to your Android calendar.

If you're looking to do this via your Android device, you could use the SMS Quick Add for something like:

Call Mom Saturday 10:00am repeats every 4 weeks
