Help How to see list of all Google Play apps when migrating to new phone?

NJRonbo

As I will be migrating from the Note 2 to the new Note 3, I wish to do a clean install rather than using a backup.

Can any of you recommend an app/method that gives me a list of every Google Play app that I have purchased/installed? This way I could just go through that list and decide what I wish to reinstall on my new phone.

Perhaps there is a list I can access directly from the Google Play app once I install it on my new phone?

Thank you

EDIT: I see that by going to the Google Play website on your desktop browser and selecting MY APPS, you can see a list of all installed apps. My fear is when I format my Note II it will erase that information. Can anyone confirm?

You don't relaly need an app, you can access Google Play and find a list of your apps straight from a web browser. You can do that either on your phone or a computer next to you so you can have a list up whilst you install them on your phone.

Apologies if I have missed something.

Scootmien,

You definitely hit upon the same findings I had.

Just want to be certain when I format the Note II that the list still remains in Google Play.

Thank you, BTW, for the assistance

Google's servers keep track of any app you've ever downloaded for any Android device that is available in the Play store, based on what Gmail account was activated on the device at the time of download. If I wanted, there are apps I could install on my Photon Q right now that I first downloaded on my OG Droid (last time I checked, anyway). The fact that Google keeps. Track of such information can be a good thing or bad thing, depending on your point of view. ;)

This makes a list of all apps that are currently on your phone,a cool tool for exactly what you're wanting to do.

Although it doesn't save app data,it's still a nice light-weight tool to have on-board.

This one might be useful as well,in the event some of the apps you currently have may possibly not officially be compatible w/the GN3-ANDROID 4.3 until updated at a later time.

I've used it to side-load apps onto my NOTE 8 tablet that the PLAY STORE says are incompatible, yet, work well once loaded.
