Help How to send a mass text?

I am trying to send a mass text to my contacts (not all but some) but I don't want to lump them all together in a group text. How can I send a mass text to individual contacts so they can only reply to me? I'm sure it's easy but I haven't found a clear answer.

In your Contacts List, you create a Group.

Then for each Contact that you wish to see the text, add them to that Group.

Then, in your SMS program, send the message to the Group...

Might just be easier to open Contacts, find the group name, then at the bottom will be two buttons:
CALL - SMS

click on SMS and write your message and send it.

So they all won't be in a group chat with each other? They will only be able to respond to me?

So if I make a group, then when I send a message they won't see the other ones and only be able to reply to me?

Group chat wil only occur if the message is sent as mms. Depending on your phone model, it should be somewhere in the messaging app settings to 'send group messages as sms'.
