Help How to set a different ringtone for forwarded calls

Hi!

I'm going to be working from home, and my employer would like me to be able to answer work calls wherever I am. We decided the easiest thing would be if we forward my landline DDI to my mobile.

However, I would like to know in advance which are the forwarded calls, so I would like to be able to give them a different ringtone. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about setting it up, please?

I don't know of any way to do what you're asking with the stock Android/HTC software.

But have a look at Forwarded Call Alert on Google Play, although there may be compatibility issues with the Desire S and it may not do things quite as you want. But if you end up using it, ask your boss to pay up for the full version! (The free version with certain limitations is here.)
