How to set SD Card as primary drive for download and installation of apps ?

I don't consume phone storage ...but want to use SD card space ...but where do I set this settings ?

I'm using Android ICS 4 OS

You can't. Newer versions of the Android OS only allow pics, videos, music, documents and things like that to use the SD Card.

so what is the default storage in ICS 4 ?

I have added a 16GB SD card in my handset...I want to make this a default storage location.

Internal space is the default for everything and you need to set it from all your apps I think. All apps will store on the internal space not the SD card unless you root it.

In the camera settings there is something to use the SD card. When you import music choose the SD Card, same with save a document and things like that.
