Help How to set full home screen wallpaper without cropping?

Hi guys, i am having trouble setting my home screen wallpaper to full picture size without that little box appearing on the picture and having to expand the box to the allowable size. I want to set my pictures to full size on my home screen, but i'm having difficulty doing so. I downloaded an app called "multipicture live wallpaper" and have tried using this, but when i set it to "full size" or "fit to screen" it either has parts of the picture missing on home screen or a border will appear at top and bottom of the picture and only show the full picture (reduced size) in the middle of the screen.

How do I fit the full pic in without doing any cropping or resizing? Also, panoramic pictures won't fit in the full screen without parts of the picture missing. I was trying to fit in a scenic pic of a city (panoramic) and when i set it to full size, it cut out a tower/cathedral from the right side of the picture entirely.

Just a bit confused if this is the best app available for resizing pictures on to my home screen, or whether there is another app out there that is better to use?

So, are you trying to fit a landscape pic onto a portrait screen?
Surely then you would have to "warp" the pic?

Are you using the stock launcher for your device? Nova Launcher gives you the option to set the wallpaper without cropping. Nova doesn't even need to be set as the default launcher iirc.
