Help How to set music as ringtone for SGHT999V - phone does not show " Set As " option

I know there is an option of storing the MP3 file in Ringtone folder , but that way is just inefficient for me. I have seen a few comments about how people have the same problem. Is there a more efficient way through an app? How come I can't get that Set As option?

Try Ringdroid. Should do the job nicely.

My stock music app will do it. (Shouldn't we all have the same one?)

Play a song, hit the menu button and select "set as". Then you can set that song as your phone ringtone or set it to a specific caller.

Also Fusion is a good free music player that allows you to use a certain part of a song as a ringtone. Great for songs that start off slowly.

ya try other apps, stock one only works for me if the file is less than 2MB but any other music player app ive tried works fine
