Help How To Set Up Auto Correct And Type faster On An Android Smartphone

Is this mostly used for a rooted phone? I love the Swype feature in my Google keyboard that came with my phone. And the spell checker is pretty darn good. Except for curse words, though it learns those if you have a potty mouth like me. LOL

Doesn't take it long, either. Mine has also picked up the Brit slang the kid uses. (She married a Brit and lives there)
 
What I hate is when it changes a word I already "intend to use" after I hit the space bar.
I turned that silly feature to OFF.

to me, the 'Space Bar' and the "Check Mark" should mean the same thing. Leave it alone and move on.

The Suggest Next Word feature is uncannily accurate. I can sometimes write a whole paragraph and never touch more than one key from one word to the next.
